Bay to Birdwood Trip

Proposed Club Trip to the "Bay to Birdwood" 2025

The annual Bay to Birdwood is one of the world's great historic motoring events as well as the largest continually-held motoring event for veteran, vintage and classic vehicles anywhere in the world.

Several club Members are planning a trip to the "Bay to Birdwood", the largest historic vehicle event in Australia, scheduled for **Sunday, 19 October 2025** in Adelaide.

The Club has approved the trip as an event and has suggested more members may also wish to participate. This is a fantastic opportunity for our members to showcase their vehicles and participate in an iconic event celebrating automotive history. There will be more than 1500 vehicles participating in the event.

The members already planning to participate have a large diversity of vehicles proposed to be taken, and with the varying speed and distance capabilities of the vehicles, we will be planning the trip this way:

Travel to/from Adelaide:

Members are to make their own travel arrangements to and from Adelaide to suit their vehicle capabilities and individual time constraints.

Some members may wish to travel together for part or all the trip which can be arranged amongst yourselves. We will use a group communication facility for all participants to enable discussion, information, arrange meeting up enroute, and to call for assistance if required.

Event Accommodation:

A group booking for 5 nights from Friday 17 October has been made at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills where all participants will meet up prior to the event, and arrangements for some touring and meal activities over that period will be made.

Vehicle Eligibility:

The "Bay to Birdwood" is for original vehicles only. See regulations: HERE

You are welcome to join our Club event with your "modern" and pehaps travel as a passenger a member vehicle for the "Bay to Birdwood".
